Abstract: Nimboa timnewi sp. n. and N. vkrivohatszkii sp. n. are described, while N. natalensis Tjeder, 1957 is reported as new to the fauna of Madagascar on the basis of coniopterygids collected in the framework of the Madagascar Project of the California Academy of Sciences. A number of new data from Madagascar is given in the case of N. pauliani Kimmnis, 1960 and Semidalis mascarenica Fraser, 1952. Ditributional pattern and annual flying activity of N. benyovszkyi Sziráki, 2023, N. pauliani and S. mascarenica is discussed, and clarification of a questionable morphological feature of N. pauliani is given. The abundant and generally distributed S. mascarenica may have a significant role in controlling of phytophagous arthropods and may have even some economic importance.
